The ICEplus system operates without a towel: Water is sprayed directly onto the ice surface via nozzles. The edger is mounted on an independent arm attached to the machine frame, separate from the brush. It has a diameter of 35 cm (13 3/4 inches), is equipped with 12 reversible blades, and is made from stainless steel. Controlled from the driver’s station, the edger is extended, retracted, and activated via the multifunction joystick and hydraulic cylinder. The cutting depth is continuously adjustable using a dial. With its 3 guide rollers and 5 cm (2 inches) of spring travel, the edger adapts perfectly to the contour of the boards, leaving a clean, 35 cm (13 3/4 inches) wide strip where the sled runner follows. The WM edger is a standout feature known for its robust and durable construction.
