The Kohler KSD 1403 TCA is a modern 3-cylinder diesel engine with a 1,391 cc displacement, up to 18.9 kW (25.3 hp) of power, and 120 Nm (88.5 lb-ft) of torque – robust, powerful, and highly versatile. Weighing only 126 kg (277.8 lbs) and featuring compact dimensions, the engine is optimally positioned within the frame, achieving a low center of gravity and high driving stability.
The combination of common-rail injection, turbocharger, and intercooling ensures efficient combustion, low fuel consumption, and smooth operation. At the same time, the engine meets all current emission standards (Stage V / Tier 4). The robust, easy-to-maintain design and high level of integration make the Vitrac, equipped with the KSD 1403 TCA, an economical solution for professional applications.

Even on the hottest days, the Vitrac keeps a cool head: The generously sized radiator ensures adequate cooling for the engine, charge air, and hydraulic oil.
Additionally, the protective grille can be removed for cleaning without tools. A Cleanfix reversible fan is available as an option.

Thanks to the Cleanfix reversible fan, the radiator can clean itself. Cleaning occurs fully automatically or is initiated manually via the display, without the operator having to leave the controls. This function is available as an option and is aimed at customers with high demands for comfort and performance.

The drive and accessory units are powered by an electronically controlled dual axial piston pump. One pump supplies the drive with 96 l/min (25.4 gpm) at 350 bar (5,076 psi), while the second reliably operates the accessory units hydraulically with 46 l/min (12.2 gpm) at 250 bar (3,626 psi). A separate gear pump is available for steering and cylinder movements. All hydraulic components are designed for maximum efficiency, precise control, and a long service life – for reliable performance in daily use.

Only tested off-highway components are used for machine control. A robust, high-performance control system ensures precise and reliable operation.
Mechanical fuses and switching elements have largely been replaced by shortcircuit- and overload-protected electronic solutions. This enables high operational reliability, easy diagnostics, and low-maintenance, comfortable use.
